About Tina
I’m Tina Habberjam, B.Des, and I work with local clients in downtown Toronto, Ontario, as well as clients across Canada and internationally.
I love making websites and interactive productions. Sometimes I register a new domain and post a new site just for the fun of it – actually, I do it a couple of times a year. You know that when this is your job, and you do it for fun as well – you’ve gotta be driven.
I’ve been designing websites, writing online and just generally kicking about new technology since it really began to take off in the mid-90s. I graduated from the York/Sheridan joint program in design from York University in 2005, and just recently returned to Sheridan for their Interactive Multimedia Program, to add some nitro to my delving into interactive installations and mobile application design/development.
I consider myself an interactive producer – someone who takes a website, mobile app, or interactive installation idea from start to launch, and then manages it afterwards. Managing the content, graphics, online presence, advertising campaigns, brand look-and-feel… you name it, I do it. I’m skilled in layout and typography, user interaction design, front-end web coding technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and do quite well with MySQL and PHP. I’m familiar with WordPress, MODx, and have worked with other CMSs, though they all pale in comparison to those two. I also have the connections and resources necessary to ensure that your website and interactive installation needs are met – I know skilled back-end programmers, motion graphic creatives, 3D artists, television and web series producers, and more.
